Next is Ryomou Shimei, also 1/8 scaled and priced at 7,140, and will be released in October as well. Not too bad looking, but somehow I prefer the one in nurse outfit with katana released by Wani Books.

This makes 4 Ikkitousen figures from Atler so far, maybe they will release a nice Hakufu figure in the future ^_^. Reservation has open for Ryomou at Hobby Search, so I guess reservation for Kakouen should be opening soon as well.

Some updates from DaiCon today with a list of attraction available during the events. More reason for you to visit DaiCon this coming July.

Still the same figma like stand, hopefully it’s not what the final stand will look like, coz it’s really plain looking.

Was really looking forward for a preview of the figure when Hot Toys mention about it sometime ago, but a bit disappointed when I finally see it. I don’t really see the likeness of Hugh Jackman on the head sculpt, other than that the rest looks pretty good. Hopefully this headsculpt is not the final version.

Mika-tan updated her blog with Nendoroid Raspberyl from Phat’s Company. Raspberyl is from Disgaea 3 by the way and reservation for her will open on June 26th.

Figma blog was updated with photos of Figma Shamal Knight Armor ver., the 5th Figma from StrikerS series. Apparently she’ll comes with extra parts for Figma Hayate, didn’t post the photos of it here but can be seen on Figma blog.

After changing my blog hosting and getting my own domain and at the same time getting my hits count reset, my blog has finally reach the 100k mark…again. If the hits wasn’t reset, this would be the 200k mark ^_^.

Oh well, even though I have been updating my blog lately, figure shoot has been lagging lately, mostly due to the hot weather here and also, most of my new figures release has been delayed. I still plan to do my Hot Toys Iron Man Mark II shoot though, soon XD.

Changing submenu in Aeon

Through the help of a forumer in Aeon forum, I manage to change the submenu under TV Show in Aeon Auriga to show an Anime menu that directly show my Anime library when selected. Below is a step by step guide on how it’s done for Aeon Auriga skin. First of all you’ll need to change to a skin with a UI for setting up a smart playlist, you can use skin like PM3.HD.

Go to video and the screen below will appear, select Playlists and press enter.

In the playlist screen, there’s a “New smart playlist…”, select it and press enter.

A Edit smart playlist screen will appear, on the type you can choose whether you want movies, tv show, music video, etc, here I selected tv show. The at the “Name of the playlist” field I type in Anime. Now we need to add new rule to this playlist, so go to the “Add” button and press enter.

This is the “Smart playlist rule” window, you can choose how you want to match the item, for my Anime playlist I choose Genre and go to browse.

For the Genre I choose animation, this works for me since the animation I have are all anime, then press enter.

Alternatively you can create your own genre, but this will require you to edit all your anime “tvshow.nfo” file. You will need to edit this line “<genre>Action and Adventure/Animation/Fantasy</genre>” and add the genre anime to it so it’ll look like this “<genre>Action and Adventure/Animation/Fantasy/Anime</genre>”. Then when you browse to the genre screen you’ll see Anime in the list.

Just press ok in the next screen, you can see I have added the rule Genre is Animation to the Smart playlist rule.

Press ok and you’ll be prompted to save the file, I save it as Anime. Do remember the name of the file you save as we’ll need it later.

This is what you get when you open the playlist directly but then this is not what we want to do.

Now we need to do some editing to the XML file, go to your Aeon skin,720p folder in your XBMC installation directory. Find the file Includes_Submenu.xml and open it using notepad or a xml editor if you have one. Do a find for “TVShortcutBools” without the quote.

Depending on where you want your “Anime” submenu to appear you need to edit the corresponding button id. e.g: id=40 is “Recent” in the submenu and so on. Each id correspond to a submenu item in sequence, so 40 will be the first item, and 41 will be the next and so on.

I choose to change the second item, which is id=41 since I do not use it, only the two lines below needs to be change, first change the label to a name that you would want to appear in the submenu, and second change the onclick to activate you smart playlist. The location of the playlist file is in your “C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\XBMC\userdata\playlists\video” for XP, the name of the playlist file will be the name you choose previously. So you just need to change Anime.xsp to your playlist name.

Once that done, startup XBMC, go to TV Show and press down to get the submenu and there’s the Anime menu that were added in.

Select “Anime” and I get to my anime library directly.

Of course beside changing an item in the submenu to anime, you can also change it to other stuff, the steps are basically the same. You just need to create the smart playlist and edit the correct section in the XML file. I have added an “Anime movies” item to my Movies submenu as well.

Magic circle, hmm doesn’t magic circles in anime always looks quite similar, from Zero no Tsukaima to Nanoha to Tears to Tiara. It’s always some what similar XD.

Riannon and Arawn, not really sure about this since Google translation is limited but I think Arawn is open for reservation this month as well.

They complement each other nicely. Pricing should be similar to Nanoha, reservation for Fate should start on 17th this month.

And just minutes after I made this post, I found out that Alter updated their blog with non other than NANOHA painted prototype WOOOT!!!!. Finally after a long wait we get to see her in full color and she looks GREAT!

And Alter also show photos of their version of Saber Lily, looks pretty nice, but I still prefer GSC version though. Saber Lily is 1/8 scale.

Reservation for both open tomorrow, so we’ll only get to know the price for Nanoha tomorrow.
