Air Gear was another anime that I somehow didn’t watch when it was release, actually I didn’t even know about this anime until I decide to help some cosplayers to shoot their Air Gear cosplay. It was then when I went looking for the anime and watched it and I was hooked. Currently I am reading the manga since the anime was left kinda hanging but unfortunately the english version of the manga release is slow and currently only at Vol. 9 while the Japanese version is at Vol. 21, had to rely on scanlation for my Air Gear fix at the moment xD.
Anyway back to the figure, sadly there isn’t much Air Gear figures out there, there are the Megahouse Ringo and Simca, a Simca polystone from Yamato and a Simca PVC as well and the latest is a Ringo from Yamato which is the only Air Gear figure I have now. This is the Hentai Kamen version of Ringo that made an appearance during Kogarasumaru with Behemoth. The figures photos are NSFW btw, so view at your own risk xD.

When she was release I saw some photos of her that makes her looks quite bad but fortunately it was just badly taken photos and she actually looks pretty good. A bit lack of detail in someplaces, and her skin tone is kinda pale other than that she’s ok. She comes with a transparent base with the word Air Gear on it, two pieces of plastic moulded to fit her Air Gear hold her to the base.
Not much extra accessories, just the bag and hair. Her twin tails are removable to fit the bag and extra hair. There’s an extra stand to her straps which I only use for one of the shot.
Overall a decent looking figure except the lack of detail and the colors could have been better especially the skin tone. I would have prefer a figure of her in sera fuku but seeing that there isn’t really a lot of Air Gear figures being release, I don’t think that will happen anytime soon.
Note: Pics might look too dark for some people since I can only adjust it to my LCD.

Nice pics like always , and looks fine on my LCD
I like this Ringo , but just the face is a little off for me ^^
Still , a good buy .
I don’t know why, but that pale light looks great. If it weren’t for this figure, I think I would say too dim, but this really just give that touch. Nice you camera could shoot a nice shot with such few light, mine would certainly pixelate the image :(. I’ve no clue about Air Gear, but I think I get this figure, it’s just nice.
Very nice shots despite the lack of light. It looks great on my LCD since I set my brightness quite high ^^
Nham Nham nice Ringo, although the promo pics were way better than her finally version, the only downfall is her face which could had been better but the rest makes up for it ^_^
@James~thanks, yeah the face is a bit off and not as nice as the prototype
@Hirvine~thanks ^^ I uses a DSLR which helps a lot in this kind of situation, I also uses a flash for direct light ^^
@Saku~thanks a lot ^^
@Belela-san~yeah the promo pic is much better, sadly the final version is a bit off, especially the face but you’re right, the rest does makes up for it ^^
