Another Mikuru added to my figures collection. I actually bought her after she was released for quite sometime, something that I don’t usually do as I always pre-order the figures that I wanted ahead of time. Was actually thinking of skipping her, but from the pics that I have seen online, she’s just to MOE to pass up xD. So I bought her from Hobby Search, they still have her in-stock btw xD, and she arrived last week.
Mikuru is dressed up in the meido outfit that she wore during the Annual School Festival in the anime, the previously released Tsuraya is in the same oufit as well. She comes with an extra hand for the nekomimi pose and of course the nekomimi headdress xD.
The cup on the tray are not removable, unfortunately xD.

Well the figure itself is well sculpted and painted, as expected of something from Max Factory, though I find that her head is kinda big if view from the front angle, maybe it’s just me haha. I do wish she have some support on the other foot though, as with the first MF Mikuru, only one of her foot is connected to the peg.

I pass on this maid version, since from some angles of view, don’t really like how her face turned out, compared to first version.
And I have already enough Haruhi and Mikuru as well… for now ^^;

Cute. It’s kind of weird how Alter and MaxFactory had released their maid cafe Tsuruya and Mikuru figures around the same time as each other.
@radiant~yeah guess haruhi figures sells. It’s hard to choose though, hmm guess I’ll choose the little froggy mikuru ^^

I just got the Max Factory Cafe version of Mikuru Asahina.
I am having trouble switching off to the cat ears. I cant pull off the original cap. I keep trying to yank it off her head but its soooo hard and it feels like im going to break the figure so I stopped. Whats the right way to take off her cap? Is there something Im doing wrong?
And I also got 2 paw left hands. Is that right? I think I just got a lucky bonus.
@rain~y not, hard to come off, for mine it was hard the first time, after that it comes off quite easily

@ravnel~hmm at first it was quite tight, but after I manage to get it off the first time it becomes easy. There’s just 1 left hand paw for mine, the other is holding the tray, looks like u got an extra paw xD

i guess i got lucky and did get an extra paw. one was in the plastic mold and the extra was found behind the figure itself. ahahah
so i just pull the bonnet straight up right?
